What is a dental prosthetist?

A dental prosthetist is a registered dental practitioner who focuses on removable dentures and mouthguards. Prosthetists first train in the technical construction of dental appliances, then complete further clinical training to treat patients directly.

No referral is needed. You can book directly without seeing a dentist first.
The examiner is also the maker. Lev makes and adjusts the denture he has assessed and fitted.

How the practice works

Clinical visits at home, laboratory work in-house

Consultations, impressions, try-ins, fittings and adjustments happen at the patient's home, retirement village or aged-care facility. Laboratory stages are completed in Northside Denture Clinic's own lab using the selected dental materials.

This model avoids a separate trip to a clinic and keeps communication direct: the person discussing fit, appearance and comfort with you is the person carrying out the laboratory work.
